Highlight “oxidative phosphorylation”, or the whole sentence. Then highlight a word in the answer to go deeper.

Cell biology, week 3

Oxidative phosphorylation couples the electron transport chain to ATP synthesis: as electrons pass along the inner mitochondrial membrane, protons are pumped into the intermembrane space, and their return through ATP synthase drives the phosphorylation of ADP.

Explained at your level

Plain, like a friend would; or exact, for an exam. Ask “simpler” or “give an example” until it clicks.

Test me

One click turns any explanation into questions, and Explayn brings them back a day, then a week, later.

Formulas and diagrams

Screenshot an equation or a chart in your slides and ask what it means — no typing it out.
